About Us
Federal Student Scholarship Organization (Federal SSO) is a national scholarship organization built upon more than 16 years of operational experience administering one of Georgia’s leading and trusted scholarship organizations through Georgia Student Scholarship Organization (Georgia SSO).
Since 2008, our organization has partnered with more than 130 private schools and helped facilitate over $100 million in tuition scholarships supporting Pre-K through 12th grade students and families.
Federal SSO was created to expand upon this proven foundation and help support the growing demand for educational choice nationwide. Our organization combines deep scholarship administration expertise with a scalable proprietary technology platform specifically designed for efficiency with donor management, scholarship disbursements, compliance coordination, and simplifying the process for school officials.
Our objective is to provide schools, donors, taxpayers, and families with a simple, efficient, and transparent scholarship experience while helping educational institutions increase access and affordability for students.
Federal SSO is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, governed by an independent Board of Directors, and committed to maintaining strong financial oversight, operational accountability, and long-term sustainability.

David Neyer serves as President and CEO of Federal Student Scholarship Organization and Georgia Student Scholarship Organization. Under his leadership, the organization has become one of Georgia’s largest and most experienced scholarship organizations, helping expand educational opportunities for thousands of students and families through scholarship funding and school partnerships.
